Methodology
Where real share prices exist, we use them: OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and Mistral open at their actual private-market marks (Forge Price and Nasdaq Private Market estimates), and Alphabet and SpaceX are public companies with real Nasdaq quotes. The smaller labs have no traded shares anywhere, so their price uses a disclosed convention: pretend one billion shares, price in dollars equals last closed valuation in billions. Each company links its source. Each price is pegged at the date of its mark; from that date forward the tape is simulated. Every key event shocks the price at the moment the news broke, so the move reads after the flag, and from today onward the tape ticks once a minute and reacts to live headlines from the Hacker News and GitHub public APIs, read by an AI analyst with a keyword fallback. A toy, not investment advice; there is nothing here to invest in.
